この度、コペンハーゲン大学のホルガー・シュルツェ（Holger Schulze）氏をお迎えし、コロキウムを開催いたします。
本コロキウムでは「HOW TO STUDY SOUND? サウンド・スタディーズの現在地点と実践」と題し、シュルツェ教授による基調講演のほか、日本におけるサウンド・スタディーズの受容、および次代を担う若手研究者らによる多角的な報告を行います。
サウンド・スタディーズの主要概念から最新の動向までを深く議論する貴重な機会となります。年度末のご多忙な折とは存じますが、皆様お誘い合わせの上、ぜひご参加いただけますと幸いです。

サウンド・スタディーズの現在地点と実践：ホルガー・シュルツェ博士を迎えて
「サウンド・スタディーズ」という名前と領域が立ち現れてから約20年。音や聴覚を出発点として何らかの人文社会科学的な知見を獲得する営みは、今どのような地平に立っているのでしょうか。
本コロキウムでは、コペンハーゲン大学 Sound Studies Labのディレクター、ホルガー・シュルツェ博士をお迎えし、サウンド・スタディーズの主要概念や方法論、そして最新の研究領域などについてお話しいただきます。後半では、日本におけるサウンド・スタディーズの受容と現状、そして次代を担う大学院生たちによる多角的な研究報告を交え、参加者の皆様と「音をいかに研究するか」を深く議論します。

コペンハーゲン大学教授。Sound Studies Labディレクター。サウンド・スタディーズ、音響人類学、メディア理論の世界的権威。多数の著作を通じて、音の感性、身体性、政治性を論じている。主な著作に、Sonic Fiction (Bloomsbury Academic, 2020)、Sound Works. A Cultural Theory of Sound Design (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019)、The Sonic Persona. HOW TO STUDY SOUND?
Current Directions and Practices in Sound Studies, with Dr. Holger Schulze
Approximately 20 years have passed since the name and field of “Sound Studies” emerged. Where does the endeavor to generate knowledge in the humanities and social sciences — taking sound and auditory experience as its starting point — stand today?
In this colloquium, we welcome Dr. Holger Schulze, Director of the Sound Studies Lab at the University of Copenhagen, to discuss the key issues and methodologies of sound studies, as well as the latest research areas. In the latter half, we will engage in an in-depth discussion with participants on “how to study sound,” including the reception and current state of sound studies in Japan, as well as diverse research reports by graduate students.

Holger Schulze
Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Director of the Sound Studies Lab. A leading scholar in Sound Studies, Anthropology of Sound and Media Studies. Through numerous publications, he explores the aesthetics, corporeality, and politics of sound. His books include Sonic Fiction (Bloomsbury Academic, 2020), Sound Works. A Cultural Theory of Sound Design (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019), The Sonic Persona. An Anthropology of Sound (Bloomsbury Academic, 2018), The Bloomsbury Handbook of the Anthropology of Sound (Bloomsbury Academic, 2021), The Bloomsbury Handbook of Sound Art (co-edited with Sanne Krogh Groth, Bloomsbury Academic, 2020) among others.

Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Urban Innovation, Yokohama National University. Researcher specializing in sound art and sound studies. Publications include What is Sound Art?
